I have read on Twitter @MarikaSboros and linkis.com/drmalcolmkendrick.org today that the new USA dietary guidelines will include the following
Dietary cholesterol is healthy(not surprising as it is a component of all cells and you would be dead without it)
Dietary saturated fat is safe
Salt is healthy
Sugar is unhealthy
It's not surprising to me as I have been reading about this for about a year and I noticed that the UK government dropped nearly all the cholesterol targets in the GP payment system called the QOF for 2014/2015.
